Bill Matthews, RFCPresident
Bill Matthews is the founder of Matthews Financial Services. For over 30 years, Bill has provided comprehensive financial planning to retirees and professionals in the Dallas area with an emphasis on retirement income planning and investments.
His unique approach utilizes a proprietary method to ascertain his clients' vision, values, and goals. Based on these factors, he develops strategies to achieve what is important to them. In doing this, Bill develops long-term relationships with his clients based on integrity and superior service.
Bill has contributed articles to several national and local publications, such as, "The Wall Street Journal" and the "Dallas Morning News." Also, he is a frequent speaker at major corporations and an instructor at many areas colleges.
Bill received a B.S. in Chemistry and a Masters of Arts in Biblical Studies (MABS) degree from Dallas Theological Seminary. He is active in his church where he has served a chairman of the Finance Committee.
He has been married for 44 years to his wife Pat. He has two adult sons and four grandchildren. He has lived in the Carrollton area for over 30 years and in his spare time, he enjoys reading and various sports - football, basketball, and baseball.
Gregory Matthews, CFP®
For over a decade, Gregory Matthews, Vice-President of Matthews Financial Services and has specialized in designing strategies to provide a secure lifetime allowing his clients to retire and stay retired.
Greg focuses in the Dallas and Fort Worth area on issues regarding Retirement Distribution Strategies from IRAs and Qualified Retirement Plans. He combines strategic investment decisions with his experience and devotion to client satisfaction to maintain the integrity of his clients' portfolios while achieving their financial goals.
Since 1997, Greg has taught continuing education classes to various CPA groups and attorneys regarding retirement distribution rules. Greg is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER DESIGNEETM.
Greg received his BBA in Finance from the University of North Texas in Denton where he was a four-year starter on the North Texas football team and currently serves on the board of directors for both the North Texas Lettermen's Association and the North Texas Alumni Association. In 2007, Greg was honored as a "Distinguished Alum" by the North Texas Athletic Department.
Greg is happily married to his wife, Julie. They have three young boys Braeton, Camden and Pierce.
